Maxim Medvedkov

Born 2 January 1957 in Bonn.

In 1979 graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations MFI of the USSR.

In 1979 - 1982 - the Administrative Assistant, the Chief Administrative Assistant of the Department of Northern Countries in the Board of Trade with Western Countries Regulation of the Ministry for Foreign Trade of the USSR.

1982 - 1986 - the Chief Economist in the Trade promotion office of the USSR in Berne, Switzerland.

1986 - 1987 - the temporary acting Expert of the Secretariat representing Russia in the Joint Commission of the USSR and Belgium and Luxembourg Economic Union in the Trade with Western Countries Regulation Board of the Ministry for Foreign Trade of the USSR.

1987 - 1992 - the Expert, the Chief Expert, the Executive Secretary of the Main Board of Economic relations with developed free-enterprise countries of the Ministry for Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Economic Cooperation of the USSR.

1992 - 1996 - the Department Head, the Deputy Director of the Main Board of Multilateral Economic Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Cooperation of the Russian Federation.

1996 - 2000 - the General Director of the Trade Policy and Law Center.

2000 - 2004 - the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation.

From 2004 - the Director of the Department for Trade Negotiations of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
