Accession of Kyrgyzstan to EEU will create additional features for development of trade and economic cooperation

The director of Department for the cooperation with Customs union and economic cooperation bodies with CIS countries of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Oleg Mizerkov, during the eighteenth session of Intergovernmental Russian-Kyrgyz commission on trade-economic, science-technical and humanitarian operation, claimed that:  «Accession of Kyrgyzstan to Eurasian Economic Union will create additional features for development of double-sided trade and economic cooperation».

3 December, 2015 there was opened the eighteenth session of Intergovernmental Russian-Kyrgyz commission on trade-economic, science-technical and humanitarian operation. Delegations were led by Co-Chairmen of Commission – the head of Federal Customs Service Andrey Belyaninov and Prime-minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev.

The director of Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, vice-chairman of Russian part of Intergovernmental Russian-Kyrgyz commission on trade-economic, science-technical and humanitarian operation Oleg Mizerkov in the course of session noted that Russia has kept leading position in external turnover of Kyrgyzstan from January till September, 2015. The share of Russian Federation in external turnover of this country is composed 27,6% according to the statistics of Kyrgyz party.

In this case, according to his version, Kyrgyzstan as a result from January till September, 2015 increased the supply provision to Russian market on 5,6%. Growth in mutual service trade is observed.

State institutions under Russian export promotion – “Russian export center” JSC, “EXIAR” JSC and State specialized “EXIMBANK OF RUSSIA” JSC intended to give complex support of Russian-Kyrgyz external-economic projects.
At the present time, the activity of Russian-Kyrgyz development fund is fully up: Governing bodies of Fund (Foundation Council and Board) are formed and practically completed Fund regulatory system creation (internal regulations, procedures, standard contracts and etc.).

In the course of Intergovernmental Russian-Kyrgyz commission on trade-economic, science-technical and humanitarian operation meeting, there were considered more than 50 questions of double-sided cooperation including power sector area and oil and gas industry, manufacturing industry, transport, connection and mass communications, agricultural complex, prevention and control of emergencies, health care and social development, education and science, culture,  custom sphere, trans-regional cooperation and interworking of business sources.

Besides, there was confirmed Activity plan under realization of Economic cooperation program between Government of the Russian Federation and Government of Kyrgyzstan up to 2017.
