New Plants Open in the Special Economic Zone “Tolyatti” with investment volume of 2.4 billion ruble


On November 6, 2015 Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexander Tsybulskiy visited the industrial production special economic zone “Tolyatti” in Samara Oblast where he took part in the grand opening of the plant of cast aluminum components for car engines (OOO “CIE Automotive Rus”) and the plant specializing in filling containers with industrial gases (OOO “Praxair Samara”).

“The volume of investment announced by the residents is 2.4 billion ruble of which 1.8 billion have been already invested. The creating of 270 new vacancies is also planned,” Alexander Tsybulskiy noted.

The primary consumers of new plants’ production are industrial facilities of Volga Federal District and AvtoVAZ-Renault-Nissan Alliance. The founder of OOO “CIE Automotive Rus” is Spanish CIE AUTOMATIVE S.A. specializing in delivery of automotive components for engines and power plants, chassis, steerage, exterior and interior of the automobile.

The founder of OOO “Praxair Samara” is US company Praxair Inc., one of the world’s largest industrial gases manufacturers, specializing in atmospheric, process and specialty gases, and high-quality protective coatings. It is planned that the production figures of OOO “Praxair Samara” will be around 15-20 thousand gas tanks a month and those of OOO “CIE Automotive Rus” – not less than 150 thousand units of output only in 2015.

After the ceremonies on the territory of technology park “Zhigulevskaya Dolina” there was held a working session on the realization of Activity plan (road map) for improvement of special economic zones management in the Russian Federation.
