Russia and Serbia agreed to attract investments and implement joint projects
During the meeting of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and the Chairman of the Government of Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexey Likhachev signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Governments of the Russian Federation and Republic of Serbia in the area of economic cooperation, investment attraction and implementation of joint projects. From Serbia, this document was signed by the Minister of Economic Development Željko Sertić.
The Memorandum will allow to intensify Russian and Serbian collaboration in areas of mutual interest, including markets of third countries, expand sales of goods and services, diversify and improve their structure, increase volume of investments between Russia and Serbia, as well as between these and other countries.
Collaboration between the parties of this Memorandum will be implemented, first of all, by efforts of the Intergovernmental Committee of Sales, Economical, Scientific and Technical Collaboration between Russia and Serbia.
