India has imposed anti-dumping duties on imports of ammonium nitrate originating and/or exported from Russia
September 12, 2017, the Ministry of Finance of India made a decision to impose anti-dumping duties on import to India of ammonium nitrate with a density of more than 0.83 g/cubic cm originating or exported
from Russia, Georgia, Iran, and Indonesia.
In accordance with the notification of the Ministry of Finance of India No. 44/2017 - Customs (ADD) of September 12, 2017, the anti-dumping duties will be applied to India's imports of this product occurring or exported from Russia, as follows:
- US$11.42 per tonne of production of SDS Azot, JSC, Russia’s major supplier of the above mentioned product to India;
- US$25 per tonne of production of other Russian companies.
Zero rate of the anti-dumping duty is set against import of products of NAK Azot, JSC, a member of EuroChem Group AG.
Anti-dumping duties of US$26.07 to 60.35 per tonne are set against products of companies in Georgia, Iran, and Indonesia.
