On March,30, 2012, in Moscow Minister Elvira Nabiullina held a meeting with the Minister of Economy of Afganistan, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan and the Ambassador of Pakistan in Russian Federation.

According to the results of the meeting the Ministers signed a joint statement and affirmed a “road map” for economic co-operation.

MOSCOW – Ministers from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia and Tajikistan March 30 affirmed a “road map” for regional economic and trade co-operation at the Russian Economic Development Ministry .

Russian Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina and her Afghan, Pakistani and Tajik counterparts discussed prospects and concrete trends for their countries’ economic co-operation in matters such as electricity, infrastructure development and transport.

The officials signed a joint statement and affirmed a “road map” for economic co-operation that a council of experts had prepared. The ministers agreed to meet again in 2013.
