Deputy Minister of Pavel Korolev instructed the management of the Federal State Statistics Service and the Department of Real Estate of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia to prepare a set of measures for flood relief in the Far Eastern Federal District

In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 693 On measures to eliminate the consequences of large-scale flooding in the territories of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Primorsky and Khabarovsk Krais, Magadan and Amur regions, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, dated 31.08.2013,  the Deputy Minister P.E. Korolev instructed the head of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography N.N. Antipina to implement a set of priority actions relating to the competence of the Federal State Statistics Service.

The Head of the Federal State Statistics Service till September 9, 2013 is instructed:

  1. to appoint a deputy head of the Federal State Statistics Service, to be responsible for operational decision-making within the competence of the Federal State Statistics Service for the elimination of the consequences of large-scale flooding in the Far Eastern Federal District,
  2. to analyze the number of properties caught in a flood zone, and to prepare the forecast of increasing number of requests for information and documents, including for the receipt of subsidies, and the calculation of the required number of staff of the Federal State Statistics Service to handle forecast number of requests, given the need to provide these services as soon as possible;
  3. to approve and submit to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federal the operational plan of the Federal State Statistics Service to participate in the liquidation of consequences of large-scale flooding in the Far Eastern Federal District.

The Deputy Minister of P.E. Korolev also instructed the Director of the Department of Property A.I. Ivakina till November 1, 2013, to develop proposals to improve legislation regarding exceptions to the construction of new housing, garden and country buildings, industrial and social facilities, transport and energy infrastructure in areas exposed to floods.
