Ministry of Economic Development summed up the economic year in Yakutia


On November 22, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia held a meeting of the Minister Alexey Ulyukaev and the President of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Egor Borisov.

The parties discussed issues of economic development of the Republic: the results at the end of the year and prospects for the future.

"We have much to discuss because there are many large projects Yakutia, including federal and infrastructure ones, " said the Minister, opening the meeting.

The meeting discussed the program of development of the Republic. It was noted that the document is based on the target method of economic management. "We have outlined strategic horizons and priorities of development of the Republic. Key activities are: development of mining industry and agriculture, improvement of "bottlenecks" in the infrastructure (construction of roads of municipal, regional and federal level, development of railways communications). Much attention is paid to the energy due to the construction of the pipeline system Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean," said the President of the Republic. Summarizing the results of operations, Egor Borisov noted the growth of budget revenues. "GRP growth for the year will amount to about 3.5%," concluded Borisov.
