World Trade Organization has admitted 160th country


On December 4, 2013 on the second day of the 9th Ministerial Conference of the WTO which took place on the island of Bali (Indonesia), the World Trade Organization opened doors for the 160th participant.

Yemen filed its application for accession in April 2000. Thus, in 13 years after its consideration by signing the protocol on accession to the WTO at the high-profile ceremony, Yemen became the member of the World Trade Organization.
